IT Systems Business Analyst

About the role:
Our client is on the lookout for a highly experienced IT Systems Business Analyst.
This opportunity arises due to an internal promotion. The IT Business Solutions team provides functional and technical solutions across a broad range of enterprise IT solutions including supply chain management, eCommerce, and BI solutions. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for defining and supporting solutions that deliver business benefits.
Are you up for a challenge and an opportunity to take the lead on IT systems? We're looking for someone with a proven ability to act as a critical liaison between different business functions and our external partners, while providing expert support and delivery across the organization.
What you will do:
- Conduct user need analyses to establish requirements
- Offers advice on process improvements and technical solutions
- Coordinates and monitors projects
- Reviews and analyse system problems to identify solutions or make referrals
- Conduct system requirement identification and documentation analysis
- Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
- Run workshops and training sessions
- Improve internal and external reporting
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions
- Analyse the structure of a business, how it uses technology and what its goals are
- Identify problems within a business, including through using data modelling techniques
- Communicate with senior people in organisations to find out what they hope to achieve
- Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research
- Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies
What you will bring:
- Worked as a Business Analyst for a minimum of 5 years
- Analytical mindset
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Strong technology, analytical and communication skills are must-have traits
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Business process modelling notations
Extensive experience with the following technologies;
- Process mapping technologies such as Lucid Lucid Chart, Bizagi and Visio
- Cloud Platforms (Azure/Amazon) and the services available on these platforms
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Technical certifications (Microsoft), will be well regarded
- Other technologies such as, Azure Devops and or Jira
